Tortoise Monitoring and Care Packs

As we slowly come out of lockdown (like a tortoise coming out of hibernation!), our lives are getting busier as we catch up with family and friends again and it’s easy to get side-tracked on those all-important tortoise jobs. To help you keep organised (& some of your little helpers too) we’ve created a fun, yet comprehensive set of Tortoise Care checklists, personalised with your tortoise’s name.

Monitoring your tortoise's growth, development, health and providing the best husbandry will help you give the best care to your tortoises. Any changes in behaviour or health can be quickly spotted and dealt with to avoid any suffering and help prevent long term health conditions.

The Tortoise Care Pack is a handy 10-page laminated set of all the important and useful checklists you'll need to care for your tortoise - it includes daily checklists, job lists, weight and length records, health checks/diary/history, owner and tortoise sitter information as well as the important information to write purchase/adoption date, A10 licence and microchipping information, insurance details and much, much more!

The care packs are personalised with your tortoises name(s) and are great for encouraging responsibility in children (as well as a handy pack for adults too, to keep everything in one place and monitor the health of your tortoise). We love the colourful designs and cheeky tortoises dotted throughout the pack and have had fun putting this together for you!

FULL TORTOISE CARE PACK

This comprehensive and colourful pack contains the following laminated pages:

- Tortoise owner/sitter details

- Important information about your tortoise (with blank lines to write other information)

- Daily checklists - morning jobs

- Daily checklists - evening jobs

- Other jobs

- Weight and Length records (Jan-Jun)

- Weight and Length records (Jul-Dec)

- Basic Health checks checklist

- Health diary (any behaviour changes, general health or activity)

- Health history (worming, hibernation etc)

A FULL pack also comes with a fine tip, dry erase marker with an eraser cap to complete the checklists. Tip: For the laminated pages where information doesn't change (e.g vet information, hatch date, weight & length charts etc) then we suggest you using a permanent marker instead to prevent this information being accidently rubbed off.

The laminated pages in the care packs are approximately A5 size and kept together with a split ring. This makes it easy for you to flip over pages, re-arrange, remove or add pages as required.

SEPARATE TORTOISE CARE SETS

Pages from the Full Tortoise Care Pack have been grouped into separate sets if you'd like additional copies of certain pages from the full pack eg for other tortoises in your care, or if you don't want the full tortoise care pack. The separate care sets available are:

- weight and length records set (current year) - 2 sheets

- health information set - 3 sheets

- owner and important information set - 2 sheets

- daily checklist set - 3 sheets

Each of the above pack will be held together with a split ring.

NB: A dry erase marker is not included with separate packs - if you would like one then please add this to your basket when purchasing.
