Arcadia Ceramic Heat Lamp
The Arcadia Ceramic Heater is a bulb that produces infrared heat to act as a radiant heat source without any visible light.
It is ideal to provide background heat in a tortoise table as well as vivariums. The heat bulbs (also known as Ceramic Heating Elements or CHE bulbs) can become very hot, as such it is essential for the safety of your tortoise (and you!) that these lamps are only used with the correct wattage E27 Ceramic lamp holder, are not placed directly against flammable material or other electrical items. We also recommend using a heat lamp cage to protect you and your tortoise from burns.
The heat bulbs are available in 50w, 100w or 150w and are all standard E27 screw fitting so will be perfect in any screw fitting ceramic holder, the only difference is the amount of heat they produce.
It is recommended to use a Pulse Thermostat in conjunction with the Arcadia Ceramic Heater as these thermostats are designed to gently pulse power to the bulb, aiding the longevity of the bulb.
